ADVOCATES FOR JUSTICE

About The Program

Advocates for Justice Program partners with Rutgers University to teach youth about issues facing juveniles within the legal system.

Objectives

The goal of this program is to help youth identify how to navigate the legal system and identify issues that they want to bring to light within their community. Also to bring opportunities for youth to fundraise and lead solutions to bring awareness to youth injustice that exist within the legal system for youth of color.

Our Youth 4 Justice Program Students learn various legal issues facing youth and construct ways to solve these issues by working together and lobbying for youth programs to be expanded and change outcomes for youth that reduce the amount of youth who are incarcerated.

Environmental Justice

Objective: Learn about the harm of pollution in the environment and learn about solutions to prevent it from getting worse.
